Cannes & Saint-Paul de Vence
The crew suggest a day trip to Saint-Paul de Vence, a stunning village famous for the host of 20th Century painters who flocked there: Matisse, Soutine, Chagall, Renoir, Signac, Modigliani, Dufy and Picasso.
No visit to Saint-Paul de Vence is complete without lunch at La Colombe d’Or. The dining room boasts a breathtaking view, but also an incredible number of original works by Picasso. Artists, unable to pay for their meals settled the bill with a painting. Booking is essential but Prue had already reserved us a table.
A late afternoon tea will be ready for guest on return, and our Chief Stewardess Prue is always happy to assist in restaurant and nightclub bookings in town.
