Corsica

As day breaks Red Anchor arrives in Corsica, and we spend a few hours sailing slowly past the beautiful sights. Nothing is a problem for the Red Anchor crew, so guests may stop whenever they would like to look more closely at something onshore. Red Anchor will eventually arrive in Bonifacio, a village perched high on the cliffs at the very southern end of Corsica.

Bonifacio Corsica Bonifacio is perched on a narrow peninsula of white limestone that the sea has carved into fantastic shapes. The town sits perched high above the ocean and is a maze of narrow streets and tall slender houses

Guests often spent hours just exploring, stopping at little shops and watching the passing parade. There is also access to climb to the citadel and see all the cannons that still point out to sea.

Bonifacio is a perfect place to take advantage of Red Anchor’s fantastic chef and crew, dine on the yacht and imagined the ancient Roman boats that sailed into this narrow deep port in the 9th century.
